I have NEVER in my life had spotting after DTD, but earlier this afternoon, I got blood streaked CM after DTD with DH. I am only 4 DPO, so I doubt it is any pregnancy signal. I has me really worried because I was DX'ed with moderate cervical dysplasia about 3 years ago due to HPV and had to have the LEEP procedure done, which I believe also led to pre-term labor. I have had a small little lump on my cervix for a couple of months now, but I just figured it is no big deal. I really hope that there is nothing going on and it was just some irritation. I don't think I could handle the stress (or cost) of going through all of that crap again.

I will be scheduling my yearly PAP with my OB/GYN sometime this week, but any insight? Is this normal?

I've done that before. the lump could have been a normal cervical cyst and that could have popped, it could be from ovulation, or you could have ovulated a bit early and it could be implantation bleeding, or you could have an irritated cervix.

oh and it's not abnormal according to my gyno.

Normally I would say it is probably nothing to worry about, but I have no idea really given your history. Can you call and just ask the nurse line? Maybe they can ease your mind. Maybe things were rougher than normal, or could you have a slight vaginal infection and not know it? Was it brown or red?

I hope it is nothing and you can just chalk it up to some great sex!

It was red and it was literally, like 2 dots of blood and I wouldn't have even known about it had I not checked my CP. I'll probably call on Monday and tell them what happened and see if they can get me in quickly for my yearly pap. I hope it is nothing, too!

I bet it is nothing. I know you said that has never happened to you, but despite that it is a normal thing, you know? It's happened to me several times. I hope the nurses can ease your mind.

Thanks for the encouragement! I am sure it's nothing too, but after being through all that I've gone through, I am just terrified of having to do it all again and having it compromise my chance of having more children, KWIM?
