I think DH is ready for #2 or at least seriously considering it (we've been communicating better too!). I showed him the Au Pair program Nikki (Niknok) is using and he is sold on it for next year when we move. The idea of not dishing out 27K a year for day care has him sold. Not only that but having someone care for our kids in OUR home for not a lot of money is just like the best thing since sliced bread for him. Since we'll be in a different state, he is concerned we wont find a wonderful day care like we have now.
So last night, he was talking about girls named and we narrowed it down to 4! Breanna, Madison, Sydney and Alyssa.
We even narrowed down boys names!
Lucas, Chase, Ryan, Sean, Logan and Evan.
My baby fever is back through the roof again!
He told me it is OK to call the RE on Monday and set up a consult
It wouldn't be till September (the transfer, we would go off my September cycle which the ETA for start should be Sept 8th or so), and I'd be due around Mid-June (if it works).
Excited

So an Au Pair is someone from another country who lives with you (you provide them a furnished bedroom and all their food) and they watch you kids for you up to 45 hours per week/10 hrs per day.
goaupair.com explains it well

That is super exciting! June babies are the best! I hope that the wait until September goes super quick for you, but at least you have an estimated date to look foward to!

When DH gets his PhD in 10 months, we're moving to where ever he gets a post-doctorate position or job. :-) Our lease is up July 28th 2011, so that's when we're moving. :-)

Not to be a downer, but you may want to put off ttc for a while. Having a new baby in the house and then moving a month later to a whole new area will be really really rough on Johnathon. It may be best to let him settle into a new place before introducing a new baby to the mix. Plus, in this economy, it may also be better to wait until you guys have jobs in the new area before expanding your family. Just a thought. The 2nd baby can be really tough on the firstborn...
That said, I'm SO happy for you that things are going better between you and dh, and that he's open to expanding the family. And how exciting that he'll be graduating in 10 short months!!!
