I got this anti redness cream: http://www.aveneusa.com/phys-ex-diroseal-anti-red-skin-l/

And I can't find any info on whether or not it is safe to use in pregancy.
It contains retinaldehyde, which sounds really scary but is apparently a form of vitamin A. The only thing I take now is my prenatal vitamins, so i'm wondering if i just spot treat my red areas if this would be safe to use. I dont plan to use it on my whole face......any ideas??

Retinaldehyde is one form of Vitamin A. The other forms are retinoic acid (otherwise known as Retin-A or Tretinoin) and retinol. Vitamin A skin creams are not recommended during pregnancy. I'm sure using it one time will be perfectly fine but you'll need to wait until post-baby, post-breastfeeding to use it again. Sorry, hon.
