I am sorry you're having a bad day! I'm in a funk myself today.
I hope your contractions let up. I remember all too well how frustrating they were. As for the hemi, are you using tucks pads or anything? I have never had one, but my mom has an almost constant one due to a vein that protrudes constantly (is it called a thrombosis?) and I've seen how uncomfortable that makes her, so I can sympathize.
Have you tried drinking a glass of milk? That was the only thing that (temporarily) helped my heartburn.

Have you tried putting a tucks pad *there* and sitting on it? (Which by the way after you give birth -- line a maternity pad with cold from the fridge tucks pads and sit. BLISS!)

I have a bunch of witch hazel pads if you want them....some are even still cold in the fridge for when I thought I would need them after birth. They are awesome!

yup no need to get a perscription - just get some witch hazel and pour it in a pad, and freeze it - sooooo soothing!!!

Sorry you're not doing too well today. I suffer with hemorrhoids though not often anymore and I'm so grateful for that. Ice packs do work. Fortunately mine never really acted up during pregnancy.

I'm sorry you had a bad day! Hemorrhoids suck. I thought I knew what hemorrhoids were until I gave birth! I used Tucks pads so long I got what I suppose is the equivalent of a diaper rash.
