So, we are looking for birth announcements and wanted to know where you guys got yours. We don't want to spend a ton of money on them.

I made my own I tried making them for others too(but it never worked, only made 2 for others that were used ).

If you'd like I could make one for you(free of course)

I didn't use a pic for my announcement so I guess I was just plain, old, boring.

I didn't send any b/c we didn't have any newborn pictures of her I liked 'enough'

but if you go to olan mills with a baby under 3 months old you can get one pose printed into an 8x10, 2 5x7's 8 wallets and 6 'announcements' so I did that and used that pic announcement in her baby book, even though I didn't mail them out

I didn't send any either because there was no way I was going to make time to address them with a newborn. I'm lazy! But the photography service at the hospital offered them at a reasonable price. It was a professional photographer. Granted, they weren't studio quality because they were taken in the hospital room, but they weren't your old school hospital mug shot either. They were cute! They were taken with a super plush pink blanket that I just so happened to have brought as the background. Just a thought!

I used a combo of Justine's (printed at wallgreens) and Breanna's (she had them printed and mailed to me) that they made for me!

Oh man that just made me tear up a bit since his 1st birthday is soon! He was sooo tiny And I DID use your's also!

I was so flustered at the time that I just had some slimlines made at Ritz Camera for like $20 (for 50) - I think they look really cheap now since I'm so used to the pro quality of my photo lab that I use.

Rachel, I can make something for you if you find a place that will let you upload and order a custom design I would offer my pro photo lab but they aren't cheap.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU ARE ALMOST 38 WEEKS! How have you been feeling?

We didn't send any either. Our hospital took really nice pictures and then they put them on the Our365 site and you can send out an e-announcement that way to friends and family and they can sign your guest book and all that. I liked that alot! We didn't send out any with Harrison either - just sent emails from the hospital site also (different hopsital same kind of thing). It wasn't worth the money to me now with technology making it so easy to announce things!

We had a professional photographer take pictures of A.J when we were in the hospital.. We ordered the CD and printed pictures for family members on walmart..

For birth announcements, we ordered them from Shutter Fly.. We just uploaded pictures done in the hospital and picked out a card.. I wanted something nice so I can frame it and put it on my wall.. I love that I was able to get such wonderful pictures of my son before he was even 24 hours old.
