Rude comments - bit of a rant!

So MIL & SIL keep going on and on about how my butt has gotten so much bigger, and they can tell i'm pregnant from my big butt blah blah blah. NEWSFLASH!! It hasn't gotten any bigger!! If anything it is more toned from all the freaking bootcamp i was doing, i know for a fact that i lost an inch off each thigh. WHY do they feel the need to say this stuff to me!? it's not like SIL needs to make herself feel better because she's already back to being way more slim than i am & i am not sure why my MIL would want to keep insisting i have a huge bum....honestly it kinda hurts my feelings because i feel like they are just being mean to me. luckily i plan to start working out again when i hit 12 weeks....maybe they'll get off my case.

Sarah you know you are gorgeous and make a ton of women jealous, right? I mean really... they are either jealous of you or they are just teasing and don't mean harm but don't realize how rude they are being.

Don't let them get to you. Your body will eventually change a lot and if you end up like me with some permanent changes, you just have to love and accept yourself as mommy gorgeous!

Next time they say something, just directly tell them "I know you're only kidding, but it hurts my feelings so please stop." Its hard to continue on after that. Its not cool to be teased about your body - ESPECIALLY while you can't do anything about it b/c you're pregnant... changes will happen. *hugs*

i did tell them that they were wrong and maybe its just more toned from working out. next time they start up i will just tell them they are hurting my feelings.
i'm happy to have the changes start happening to me, but i know my body! i had to take freakin measurements in bootcamp so i know for a fact its not bigger and they are just a bunch of stupid eyeball heads!

Exctly!

And I don't know why but people think once you're pregnant that gives them carte blanche to comment negtively about your body, attitude, or whatever.

You're gorgeous don't let them get to you, they have to just be jealous!

Dude. First, you're a knockout. Second, those two need to keep their traps shut and focus on correcting their own stupidity. Your MIL disrespects your home with her animal issues and then has the cajones to put you down? Please. And your SIL... well that's a whole other can of worms, isn't it?

Something my FIL tells me when I'm getting upset about others' comments is "Consider the source". It's great advice!
