Took the plunge

Bella has only had 2 bottles today

Im using the syringe with the long tube to supplement. She wasnt sure at first, but after a few feedings she is a pro! She is latching on HERSELF! Im so excited!!!

Only sucky part is my boobie milk stash is running low. and I cant pump enough to supplement. Can I use formula or would that ruin our mojo?

I gave it to her to try, and she got SO mad, I called it quits for that feeding and gave her a bottle and I pumped. I cant have her so upset, its not natural for me, KWIM? poor kiddo

At least I know she CAN and WILL latch back on - I see a light at the end of the tunnel FINALLY!

I guess you could try the breastfeeding forum to see if you can get any new ideas for increasing your supply. Good luck and keep it up, you're doing a great job!

The more she nurses, the more milk you will make. If you want to supplement with formula, do it AFTER she nurses and I would even do it after she nurses on both sides. That is awesome progress! Hang in there!

I guess Ill supplement enough to have her start sucking then back off. Gaaash now its a waiting game till my milk supply comes back up! at least shes latching on - thats like a 1000lb weight lifted off my shoulders!
