Sorry guys, I have been to the hospital twice in the past 24 hours. Harper is fine. I'm fine. Its just been a really long week. Anyway, my milk came in last night and I am dying, like dying. How do you deal with this?

Cabbage leaves in your bra. Cold Cold cabbage leaves.
Gerber makes these awesome round things that you put in the freezer that feel AWESOME on the sore boobs. You can also heat them up as well.
Warm showers.
I know you think that it'll help to relieve the pressure by pumping or expressing, but all it will do is make you make MORE milk. It only lasts a couple of days and once it is over you will feel MUCH better.
Ugh I remember going through that like yesterday....it was AWFUL and excruciatingly painful. But it is only temporary!!!
Oh and just wear a sports bra, or something that is supportive but not too tight, like a sleep nursing bra. It'll feel SO much better. I had on a nursing tank and when I took it off to get in the shower, I had lines and indentations ALL over, you have NO idea how big they get!!!

Hot shower/bath, cabbage leaves or nurse. Don't pump because your body will just produce more milk (unless your gonna pump a freezer supply.) You might need to pump a little before you nurse to get rid of the engorgement so Harper nurses

Pump when you're really in pain, or nurse if Harper will have it. Or, take a hot shower and hopefully your milk will let down and manually express in the warm water. It goes away, I promise!!
