How long has everyone been breastfeeding or how long did you breastfeed?

I've been breastfeeding for 9 1/2 months now and still sticking with it! It's been a major challenge, but I've stuck with it. I will continue for at least a year and then I'll let Xander decide when to stop (unless he keeps going, and then I may nudge him a little).

I ebf Curtis until about 4 months, then stopped completely at 6 months. I regret it! I wish I would have done the full year.

I bf Dustin until 13.5 months I believe. I am totally at peace with the amount of time I bf him! He had the occasional formula bottle during that time though.

I'll be bf another come Sept!!

9 months. Wished it had been longer. Pumping at work since he was 6 weeks old was the death of our BFing journey

Hope to BF our 2nd much longer!

I'm worried that will happen to us. I will have 400 oz in the freezer by then, but still... that will only go so far if my supply doesn't hold up. I know I will be stressed out and not getting much sleep. And I also know I will have those days where I get caught up in something crazy at work and am unable to pump for a few hours.

Try not to worry about it. I worried on and off at times that I wouldn't be able to pump enough for him but I always pumped just enough for the following day. No extra at all! I would pump about 8-12 oz total each day (that was pumping between 2-3 times per day). I made it a full year of pumping at work. I had a stash when I first went back but it was gone fast. I learned that the the stash shouldn't be used as the following days feeding because then you get in trouble when it's gone. I read that the stash should be used for times when you spill the fresh stuff or something like that. I'm sure it will work out for you!
