Couldnt hear a heart beat because she says i have a long torso, that plus the baby is a smaller baby. I haven't gained any weight, probably because of my constant 'morning sickness'. Got the results from my impromptu u/s that i had a few weeks ago due to spotting and turns out i had a subchorionic hemorrhage. i'm glad they were able to see what caused the bleeding...ugh i just feel stressed about the scan tomorrow now, but at least i will get to see the baby so that will be nice.

My office wouldn't even try to hear a HB until 12 weeks and even then it took FOREVER b/c Lily kept swimming around.

Until we found out she was a girl we called her "'swimmy" after this painting I have that Ben did when he was 5. There was a fish he named "Swimmy" so we called Lily swimmy b/c she kept swimming away from the doppler, lol.

Its disapointing you didn't get to hear it... but I'm glad everything is A-OK!

Even at 12 weeks they had a REALLY hard time finding him. Dont' worry!

The scan isn't as scary as i thought, and it was really nice to be able to look at my baby for that long.

We wouldn't hear the h/b at our last midwife appointment. Bubs didn't want to stay still long enough! I'm sure everything is fine, baby just doesn't want to behave

Don't be worried, baby is okay! I'm glad everything went well and they found the source of the bleeding. Can't wait to see the baby!

Some one in my PR that is newly pregnant has that SBH too. She has had some bleeding on and off because of it but baby is fine. I'm sure tomorrow will go well.

My doc could not find a hb at 12 wks and I got an ultrasound because of it.

Sorry you couldn't hear the hb! I hope I can hear it at my next appointment (I'll be 12.5 weeks).

Glad the appointment went alright and you got to see the baby. Sorry they couldn't hear the hb but I've heard a lot of persons saying that it was difficult to really lock on to it at this point. Hopefully the can today will go well.
