Lastnight I had horrible braxton hicks. We were tossing the idea of heading to the hospital.

After they were done I was left with a horribly sore tummy..... I had it all night long and even this morning. It aches all around my uterus. Especially along the sides. I can't lay on my side with out support or else it's unbareable... and it's a constant pain. Is this round ligment or something?

I can barely walk and this poses a huge problem with two little kids!!

could be a combination of round ligament pain, and symphasis pubis disfunction. I find that i get a lot of pain while in bed. Lifting my legs while laying down just makes it worse. I get the tummy soreness with my braxton hicks too. I find the only thing that helps is laying around with my head elevated. If it doesn't ease go ahead and call.

no real treatment other then rest and stay supported! the BH I was having the night before I had bella were the worst. Tightening pains but never really hurt. The pressure was almost unbearable!!! I know its hard with the boys, but you have to rest!! maybe confine them in the living room with blankets, toys, coloring books and movies so you dont have to move (unless they want a snack) Hope you feel better soon!!

Oh Stephy, I'm so sorry! Have you tried taking a warm bath with some epsom salts to see if it will relieve the sore muscles? I hope you start to feel better soon and it doesn't come back!

My BH never made me feel that way, so I have no advice. I'm sorry you are in so much pain! It sounds pretty awful. I hope it passes quickly for you.

I had the same thing with Lila around 31 weeks when I had mt little pre-term labor episode. My belly was soooooo sore for a few days and I had a very hard time walking and getting up and down from sitting/laying. I ended up with pretty bad SPD (symphasis pubis disfunction). By my 9th month I couldn't do much of anything without being in tears from all the pain. The SPD has lingered and from what I've read may stay with me, its so awful, I really hope you don't have it. Its also what kept Lila breach.

A warm bath will help your sore tummy muscles but really the best thing you can do is rest as much as possible. I know how hard that is with 2 active boys to take care of but you have to do what you can and get as much help as you can. We watched a lot of movies, read a lot of books, and did a lot of quiet play the last few months because I just couldn't play with them from the pain.

I really hope you feel better soon!

I had pubis dysfunction and it felt like all the weight on my stomach was being held up by my pubic bone and doing anything from walking to rolling over in bed HURT like no other.

I'd get checked though just in case
