I got maternity jeans around 15/16 weeks but still fit into (and wore) regular pants until 22 or so weeks.

I can still wear my regular pants and tops but already have maternity clothes so I wear those, too. I think it has a lot to do with how you are carrying, I carried my girls much, much lower than this baby and was in strictly maternity clothes by 14 weeks.

I think i was a special case lol. I wore very tight pants with no spandex. Around 10 weeks i had a little pooch and there was just no give. I ended up buying smaller maternity clothes and belting them. I also bought clothes and Fashion Bug. They market clothes for bigger ladies, and if you look carefully there are things with elastic! I purchased some cotton spandex pants from Target. They weren't maternity, but they were really stretchy, but looked nice like a trouser. They fit at 10 weeks, and still fit now at 31 weeks. Try things on though, not all elastics are the same... have to be stretchy and loose. I bought my tops from oldnavy.com you can get shirts for 5 bucks.

I wish i had been more strategic in buying clothes though, becuase now i'm having to re-buy BIGGER maternity clothes.

yes tash i need some belly pics!! and i still want some pics of your baby gear stash!

i'm the type of person who would wear jogging pants 24/7 if i could so as soon as i had the excuse to buy elastic waist pants i did!! Plus i needed some capris for summer (& into fall) so i figured i wasnt getting any smaller so i might as well just get the maternity ones. i bought a few maternity shirts too only because they were on sale, i am not wearing them yet though (except for one which is pretty small). i also found some stretchy black footless tights at walmart that fit awesome and seem like they'll have lots of give in the tummy for a long while...only $6!

I never got pants, I just wore them with a belly band. Although I tried on my work slacks yesterday and I think I permanently streched out the crotch with my ginormous full term belly. When I wear them it looks like I used to have nads or something.

I think I got shirts at about 15 or 16 weeks.

I recently got a belly band since some of my smaller pants are getting tighter. Also bought some drawstring pants from the store I work at... figure that they'll allow for some give

20 weeks was when I remember getting a shirt, and 22ish for pants with Kieran. Since I loose so much weight while pregnant thanks to HG morning sickness I don't have to wear maternity clothes till the middle, and with being plus sized already most my stuff is already loose so I get room to grow lol. 25ish with Seamus.

I've ALWAYS (even with my first) shown very early. Taylor I was in them by 8 weeks, Rylie by 6 weeks, and Seth by 6 weeks thought I was in sweats just to be comfy LoL.

I don't quite remember. I had a lot of tops that were loose before I was pregnant which worked well so I didn't have to buy many of those and though I bought a few bottoms but most of the legs were too big since I only gained in my bump. I pretty much relied on my belly band most of the time. I had a bought a few dresses as well which served well in the last trimester.
