So I had my 37 week check up today! Breanna came with me so she could get out of the house and I was planning on showing her some fun stuff in Orange County. She left Reid with Will so she only had to watch Cambria in the waiting room. Of course It took forever while I was waiting for my doc but she said she was being good. Lets hope! So she checked me and said I was 1 Centimeter Dilated and he was head down. Thank goodness cause last week he was head up! So that makes me feel better. She also said Ive lost 1 1/2 Lb's. BUT the bad new's. She heard a Heart Arrhythmia. So they sent me to get a NST. The lady there said she did hear the Arrhythmia and said I was contracting a lot. I couldn't feel it. He was moving a lot so she said that was probably cause of the contractions. She said that they will give the paper to someone who evaluates them and If there's a major problem they will call me. She did say it is normal and If anything they will just give them baby medication when he's born or it will just go away on it's own. Kinda scary! I hope he's ok But Breanna deserves a medal for having to be dragged from office to office AND watch a 2 year old. Cambria is sooooooo In Love with her it's funny! All day she kept saying "Breanna" although it sounded like "Banana".. Needless to say we didn't do any of the things we had planned cause I was stuck at the doctor's all day

Is it like a heart murmur? If so I had that when I was little... no harm done, nothing different I believe. I out grew it.
I hope the reports come back aok! And he's born perfectly healthy! Sounds like things will be okay either way. I'll be thinking about you TONS.
That's awesome of Breanna! The good news is most kids behave better for someone else then mommy or daddy hehe... especially when they love them so much! Way to go Cambria for being a good little girl

She said it's kinda like It skipped a beat. I asked her why it never showed up before and they said sometimes it can happen once and never again.
Ya she was funny, I'd say "Hold my hand so we can cross the street" and she'd go hold Breanna's hand...

Me + Cambria = BFFs
I had a great time and Cambria was a DOLL all day long. Seriously. If I ever have Amy watch Reid she will be thinking, "Okay, this was NOT a fair trade!" haha.

I'm sure Baylen will be fine but I will be thinking about him for sure.
It's a good thing Breanna was with to help out. I'm sure she was happy to!

Lucky you for having a helper! I'm sure Breanna was a huge help and let you concentrate on what the Drs were saying. Things that are not 'normal' always seem scary, but it is probably nothing. Hopefully all will be well on D day!

First off, when did you get to be 37 weeks?! Time is flying! I think its so fun that Bre went with you! As for the heart murmur, we have several LO's in my PR with one, some of had outgrown them and some are expected to but its just been something worth noting but nothing that's been a concern. Hopefully that's the case for Mr. Baylen!

I am glad that they caught this potential issue NOW, even before he's born. They will know that they need to pay some extra attention right after birth to make sure it is nothing serious. It's so much better to be aware of it and possibly be nothing, than to have it cause an unexpected problem.
Did you get any pics of you guys all together? I'd love to see! How cute that Cambria took so well to Bre!

Amy, I know the heart thing is really scary, but I've had it my whole life!!! Never had a problem with it! But, it's a good thing they caught it now in case it did cause a problem. My heart has always skipped a beat. I was told by so many doctors that it's completely normal!!! I'll say a prayer for you that this was just a one day thing and it doesn't happen again or maybe it was because you were contracting that it was happening.
It's so awesome that Breanna got to go with you! She's awesome! I wish more JM Mama's lived in Colorado!

I had a heart murmur when I was a kid and it went away. You are getting close now. Do you have everything ready?

Glad you are weighing well and he's head down. I have no advice as far the heart murmur but I hope it continues to be nothing serious.

Horray for you and Breanna hanging out but boo for the heart arrhythmia scare Im sure he'll be ok. could also be caused by your diet and caffeine. Keeping you guys in my prayers!!
