Went to my usual OB appt today. I've been feeling fine, contractions still about the same. No pressure or anything, but have been uncomfortable.
My BP was up to 122/84, not horrible, but a lot higher than my normal 92/58.
I had protein in my urine. They thought it might be from a uti, so they had me pee in a cup... and i passed part of my mucous plug. The doctor tells me everything is probably fine, and that he didn't want to check me and start me contracting... but changed his mind. He wanted to do the group B strep culture anyway. His face told me everything. He told me my cervix was very short and had effaced quite a bit, but was still closed. He also said he could feel baby's head, and that it was pressing down pretty hard on my cervix.
He sent me home to continue bedrest. (i was bad and went and laid on Heather's couch, and visited with her and Nikki instead) He told me that he thinks this baby will come very early, and to be prepared, and call if anything changes. He doesn't think i'll make it past 34 weeks. I was a little panicked at first, but i really don't feel any different. So i'm hoping he'll stay in a little longer. I'll be 32 weeks on Sunday.

Thanks ladies. Yes Heather's was my last hoorah most likely. But her apartment is on the way home and i laid on the couch the whole time. You can ask her!
I'm really down because a very close friend of matt and I, is getting married tomorrow. Not sure what i'm going to do... i can't imagine missing it.

Stay put, little man!
I know how scary it is, but doctors aren't always right, and if he is, at least you've got a little bit of time to prepare yourself. When I went into pre-term labor, my doctor was absolutely positive I would have my baby within a week or so, which would put me just shy of 36 weeks, but to everybody's surprise, I held out until 38 weeks, so it's definitely possible!
