Or I should say these. These headaches are killing me. I have had headaches pretty much my whole life, terrible ones. I used to get 2 -3 migraines a month, and when I got pregnant with DD, I had a pretty constant migraine until about 26 weeks, and since then I hadn't had any real headaches. Now that AF is back, I am back to getting at least 2-3 headaches a week, some that feel like they could easily turn into migraines.

Does anybody know of anything I could use to make them go away? Obviously it's something hormonal, since they stayed away up until my cycle returned. I refuse to use hormonal birth control, so I am hoping there is SOMETHING that will help!

And, since they are starting to get bad again this week, I am fully expecting to see AF on the 20th. .

have you talked to a dr about meds? Ive had migraines since 4th grade. 2 Excedrin migraine with a coke or a starbucks frapp usually takes care of it now. I have Imitrex injections if they turn into the migraines that I get physically sick from (thoes suck!) Also taking magnesium might help too. There is a certain kind your suppose to take...Ill have to ask my midwife. You can get it from whole foods for cheaper.

I've never had a migraine but it sounds awful! I'm sorry they started back up. I wouldn't lose hope on this cycle, though. It could just as easily mean you are pregnant, right? Although if you are hopefully you won't have it up to 26 weeks again!

I used to take Maxalt for my migraines, and if that didn't get rid of them, I would go in for a shot of something (I can't remember what it was now, but I know it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.) My doctor even referred me at one point to an opthamologist because he thought it had to do with something down in my eye, but I found out 2 days after I made the appointment with the opthamologist that I was pregnant, so I never went back for a follow up after the initial appointment.

Does Excedrin migraine have caffiene in it? I am very sensitive to caffiene so I have to be really careful. Also, do you know if it is safe while BFing? I'll have to look into magnesium. Thanks so much for the info!

I am definitely trying not to lose hope, I want to be pregnant so bad! I guess I am just trying to prevent myself from being disappointed. And even if I had a 26 week long migraine again, I would take it if it meant a healthy pregnancy!
