I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is going. Crazy! And yes, I'm very excited to be 12 weeks tomorrow (though I never know if 2nd tri is 12 or 13 weeks, it seems to vary depending who you talk to).

I was going to start a new thread, but I'm just going to update here. I just got home from my 2nd doctor appointment and I got to hear the heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!! What a sweet sweet sound.

I got so scared though cause she had a lot of trouble finding it. It probably didn't take that long but it felt like she searched for it for hours! I was really worried and then I heard a quick "whoosh whoosh whoosh" and both my face and Chris' lit up. And then she lost the heartbeat again! It seems that baby was moving pretty quickly in there.

I have an u/s scheduled next week and I can't wait to finally SEE my baby!

oh yay!!! i know u never really know when ur in the 2nd tri, i just arbitrarily picked 12 weeks. ok also it was also cuz i'm impatient and wanted to go with the earlier time!

that is awesome that you got to hear the heartbeat! my little booboo still hasnt held still long enough for that!

That is so awesome Caroline! I am so happy for you! I cannot even fathom hearing that sound, and knowing its your baby! I've got myself crying, I want that so bad! Did you get a picture? Have you mentioned if you are going to find out the sex?

Congrats on almost reaching 12 weeks!!! That is sooo cool! Don't get to worried about hearing the heartbeat. My baby won't stay still enough to hear it and I'm almost 19 weeks!! Naughty boy...

I'm so glad you got to hear the heartbeat! It's the most reassuring and amazing sound isn't it?! I remember when I first heard Taylor's like it was yesterday... as soon as my OB left the room I literally fell to my knees and started crying LoL... I was so thankful she was ok and I couldn't believe she was actually in there! I'm so happy for you

I want this for you so bad too you have no idea! I stalk your journal every day to get updates and I know I'll do a happy dance in my living room when you post your bfp!

I didn't get an u/s so no pic, but I'm getting one on Tuesday so hopefully I'll be able to have some then. We will definitely be finding out the sex sometime in October.

It's funny because I finally started telling people at work today and I found out one of my coworkers is also pregnant and we have the same EDD! She's 37 and she had been trying forever and had just given up on ever being pregnant. Now we're both expecting our little miracles
