My oldest son, Lucas, is going to be 4 in a few weeks and he has been telling dh & i for at least 6 months that he wants a sister... so lastnight when he brought it up, I was talking to him about babies and dh told him that he would have another person to share his toys with and he says "that's ok... I have to share them anyways" and I asked him if he would still like his brother if he had a sister and he says "Yesssss Mommy... I will love both of my babies!!" He has been an amazing big brother since the day Alex came into the world... only thing I'm having problems with is he's not having another brother, only a sister

so who knows how he will react if he ends up with another brother!!

my cousin was over here the other day with her 5 week old baby and he was so in love, rubbing her back and her hands and feet... simply adorable!! Makes me even more excited to add #3

Awwww, that's so sweet! My oldest was 3 1/2 when I got pregnant with our third and he had been telling me for quite a while that he wanted a baby sister (already had a little brother). He did get his wish and was so over the moon excited but I think he just really loves babies and would have been thrilled with another brother too. It sounds like your son is the same way, just loves babies!

Both my boys think the sun rises and sets on their little sister, they both adore her to pieces. Of course, she's not quite mobile yet and messing up their toys so we'll see how much they like her when that happens! LOL

Yeah, I think you're right about just loving babies... I had to fight with him over Alex when he was a newborn... he always situated himself on the couch with the boppy pillow around him and told me he was ready for his baby (never my baby... always his!!) Ahh the memories

I'm going to attempt to put the picture in here of when he came up to meet alex for the first time... i love the smile on his face (and lunch on his shirt of course
