I got my first ultrasound today!!!!!
I had imagined that moment a thousand times but it was so, so, so much better than I had dreamed. I loved seeing my little baby in there, s/he was moving a lot and it even looked as if s/he was waving at us at some point.  I already love that baby so much.
Everything looks normal so far. I'm 12 weeks, 5 days according to my ovulation (my doc has me at 12w4d) but I measured ahead at 13 weeks 1 day. I guess that would put my EDD as Feb. 28? I don't know. I'm not changing my ticker anyways. I think the doc will decide at my next appointment in Sept. if he's keeping my EDD as is or going with the new one. I hope he keeps the latest one.
Oh and after the tech was done, a doctor came in to take a look and told me "So have they told you anything about the number of babies?" My eyes got wide and I said "The number of babies? There is just one in there right?" and he said yes. I don't know why he scared me like that!
Anyways, I'm sure you all want to see the pics, so here they are:

Awww so sweet. I remember the first time I saw Drake and he looked like a baby (I had a few scares and thus had a 5, 6, and 7 week ultrasounds but Drake was just a tiny blip for those) and it was such a special moment with my husband. I look back at all his ultrasounds sometimes and am amazed how that tiny thing became Drake and that he lived inside me for 9 whole months. Congrats again Caroline, I remember your TTC days. Drake (more his daddy) says yay for another hockey fan coming into the world even if you are a Canadians fan

caroline your baby is gorgeous!!!!! that's so odd ur doc said that about the number of babies.....wehn i wentfor my first u/s for some reason they wrote twins all over the page and the woman looks at me and says something about my twins and i'm like 'you havent even put the thingy on my stomach yet!!?? how can u know that?!' lol but yes only one baby here too phewf!

Cycle #1-9 - All Natural....5BFN's, 4BFP's (all ended in miscarriage)  Cycle #10-11 - Met with first RE, diagnosed with heterzygeous MTHFR mutation & slightly low SA on all counts. -BFN, Cycle #12 - First IUI+Trigger - BFN, Cycle #13 - BFN Cycle #14-15 - Met with new RE, diagnosed with a blocked right tube that previous RE completely overlooked or didnt care to mention. Soy (120mg) - BFN Cycle #16 - Clomid (100mg) - BFN, Cycle #17 - Clomid (100mg)+Trigger+IUI - BFN Cycle #18 - Acupuncture+Clomid (100mg) - BFN Cycle #19-27 - 2 Soy (160mg) cycles, the rest all natural also 30lbs lost!! - BFN's Cycle #28 - New RE is GREAT! Put on bcp 7/6/11, Lap surgery 8/1/11- Tubal cyst (5cm) found and removed, Uterine Septum removed, and Stage II-III endo removed. Cycle #29 - All Natural - BFN, Cycle #30 - All Natural - BFN, Cycle#31 - All Natural - BFN, DONE TTC FOR NOW

Aww, your little baby looks so cute!
I bet that freaked you out when your Dr said that.  I remember at the fertility clinic the receptionist asked me how many I was having when I booked my first u/s I was like ummm, just one I hope?
