I hate to buy them lol. I mean everything you buy you throw out! The bag, the packaging....everything! Anyway, what kind do you buy?

And they are so darn expensive for something you just have to throw away... I feel they should be cheaper! I buy different ones all the time because I can never seem to find one that satisfies me... they all get holes in them too easy! We're working on a big box of plain glad drawstring kitchen bags!

I get a pretty cheap set here for about BD$20 (US$10). They're a brand called Viking or something like that. I think it's about 90 medium-sized bags in a box.

We bought big garbage bags for our containers but then realized that they will take "loose" garbage containers and just dump it all so now we just buy a big thing of kitchen garbage bags. We recycle the packaging though. We are actually forced to recycle. If they find/suspect recyclable material in our garbage they will refuse pickup lol. So our garbage for like a whole week is just in one garbage can and then we have a huge bag of recycleables. It's pretty nice actually!
