I have been terrible about making it online since the wedding, and my computer has been on the fritz so it has really delayed the wedding update. But I promised an update and pictures so here I am. I honestly can't remember how much I had posted before so I'll post the links to the update and the pictures. Sorry it took me so long to get back. I'm still on bcp right now which wasn't the plan but I have kinda gotten cold feet about charting to avoid. I'm not confident in myself since I'm still pretty in the dark about temping and charting, my brain just can't seem to grasp it, plus I'm afraid I won't have the will power to avoid if I know I am O'ing, and we really can't handle a newborn with both of us in school right now. Any advice would be appreciated.

Congrats on your wedding! I have no advice about charting etc....I stayed on bcp until I was super ready to have a baby both times...my body was such a mess in natural mode that charting and all that was totally unreliable. I say if it makes you more comfortable then stay on the pill. Many women come off the pill and can be back on a regular cycle within a month...some don't....you won't know but if you're not willing to take the chance I wouldn't!

As for the charting, that's the only BC I've used for 2.5 years and it's been successful unless I was actually trying to have a baby LoL. I bought the book "Taking Charge Of Your Fertility". I STILL refer to that thing, it's a HUGE help and taught me everything

I'm no help! i was on the pill until we started TTC. And then... that took 2 years. Maybe start charting closer to when you plan to TTC?

I have to say though, your dress is beautiful!!! You look amazing. I hope your wedding was everything you hoped for. (apart from melting cake)

Thanks everybody. I am still undecided on whether I want to chart or not, I really hate the way bcp makes me feel which is why I was leaning towards the charting. Who knows though, right now I'm not doing either, I ran out of refills and am waiting to get back to the doctor to get another perscription. Maybe this will be my kick in the butt to chart though. And I really did enjoy the wedding I wish I could go back and do it over and over lol. Ashley those shoes seem really popular for weddings lately lol but I can see why that are soo cute I just love them.

Beautiful pics! You look gorgeous.

The few glitches are almost a part of every wedding. Your cake still looked fantastic and going by how happy you and your DH looked, you could never tell that the glitches happened. Congrats again to you!

As for the BCP, I came off about 3 months before we were going to NTNP so I can't really offer any advice on other methods.
