Hi everyone, and thanks for all the well wishes and congrats! I Love you all!!!! Got home a few hours ago. I haven't put any pic's on my laptop yet but Ill try tomorrow and post em for you to see. Baylens doing good. He's SO different then Cambria. He's VERY calm and quiet and just wants to sleep. I can't get food in him for more then 5 mins before he's out again, It's crazy! I Really didn't want to or was planning on BFing him like I did with Cambria but kinda got sucked into it. I am gonna TRY but If I start feeling bad and just can't do it again Im not gonna be hard on my self. I do feel like he's not eating enough since he only eats for about 20 mins and then falls asleep for 3 hours! But the LC said since he's pretty much gulping the enite time and then he's out that he seems to be getting enough. He does seem to spit up a bit and is gassy so I have to watch him more. Our hospital was SO baby friendly only they didn't give me a choice, which I was kinda mad about cause I'd ask for help in the bottle feeding department and they'd always say " we dont recommend it"..whatever! But so far Nursing him has been alot easier. I had to use the shield again but once he remember's what to do he gulps away. Cambria never did that! Ill post my birth story later but pretty much went from 4-10 in less then 5 hours. It was NUTS!!! I got an epi but it only worked on my legs and but, when It came time to deliver I felt it all down there! He was 7lb's 5Oz and 20 inches long born at 2:14am! ( Cambria was 7lbs 2Oz and 17 inches ) He did drop down to 7lbs before we left though so we'll have to see how he is when I take him back in on Thursday. David think's he looks like him and so does his mom. I think he has his eyes and darker hair but he has my/Cambria's nose, feet, and mouth. Cambria doesn't seem to mind him to much. When he crys she comes running over or says " crying!" We'll see how she is in the coming days. My 12 Year old niece some how got dropped off with us for 3 days, they say to keep Cambria company but now we have another kid/preteen to watch! lol.

London was also a gulp-er! Still is acutaly. Its GREAT! LOL As a newborn he maybe nursed for 15 min at a time and every 3 hrs, I woke him up to feed him if he tried to sleep longer those first few weeks because they can get dehydrated. After a few weeks (i think it was 4) I just let him nurse when he wanted to and he slept 4-5 hrs.
And to this day... he is a MAYBE 5-10min nurser during the day and a 2 min at night- I love it! HAHAHA
I can't wait to see more pics!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!!!

Yay! Your home. It's so great to hear from you and how your doing. I have to say I'm sooo happy and excited that you are giving BF'ing a try. I was hoping you would but that is because I'm so pro BF'ing. But of course you have to do what is best for you and baby in the end. When you said he only eats for 20 mins and falls asleep I was like that is normal! Oliver always nursed for 15-20 mins as a newborn and soon after went to 5-10 mins! Your baby is getting the milk out and filling up and that is great! You must just be use to your marathon sessions with Cambria since she wasn't good at getting the milk out. Or maybe you have more milk this time around and a better sucker. Either way it sounds like he is doing awesome with it!!

He is super cute and does look like Cambria to me but a little different. I look forward to seeing more pictures and watching him grow. I also can't wait to hear how Cambria does as times moves on. AND how you do with two.

Congrats again.

Glad you are giving beastfeeding another go. Hope it's easier for you this time. Also happy to hear that Cambria is coping well, but i'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to drop a kid off at your house lol. Sorry about that. *Hugs* Welcome home, mama!
