I think we are going to wait to TTC until Feb.....

I already told Amy and she was bummed. haha.

As you can see from my ticker, we were going to start TTC in Oct and try for a summer '11 baby. However, I REALLY REALLY want to go to the worlds largest photography event in February. It's in Vegas and I've never been to Vegas. A lot of my photographer friends are going, we are going to share a room and I've heard that it is an AMAZING time! We are only 4 hours away from Vegas now so I really want to jump on the opportunity. I have zero desire to be in Vegas while pregnant - I would like to partake in an adult beverage (or two or three or.....lol) and being around all that smoke? No way!

So yeah. Just wanted to tell you guys. I am totally fine with it. The winter months are so busy anyway with the holidays and what-not that the time will fly by. I think we will not TRY to get pregnant but probably won't be as careful as we had been. If I did get pregnant, well, I could just go another year I guess

....but it's something that I want to do before we get pregnant with #2!

.....so funny, because when I wanted to TTC Reid I was soooo obsessed that literally nothing would have stopped me. I would have moved trips around if it meant that I had to be away from DH when I was ovulating! haha. Now, I'm pausing TTC FOR a trip!

Sounds like you have a fun reason for holding off. It's not like a few months matter in the long run. TTC is for sure different the second time around.

Well I'm glad you'll (most likely) get your trip and you are cool with waiting.

I think a fall baby would be great.

Man, I remember how crazy your baby fever was before Reid... I remember you writing letters to Will trying to explain how badly you wanted to TTC, and so many other details about that time in your life that I feel like I must be reading posts from a different woman! haha. I think that's awesome that you guys are much more relaxed this time around and I'm sure you'll have a great time in Vegas!

and I totally want you to delay TTC to increase the odds of us winding up in a DDC together! haha

Hmm and I remember someone else who posted saying they thought weren't goign to have any more babies. And then they were vague on why?

We put off TTC cause we have a Disneyworld trip in November and I didn't want to be too far along. I completely get it!

vegas IS awesome!! you will have a great time, what hotel is the event at? where are u gunna stay? TTC will be there for u in Feb, so have fun now!

Sounds like you have a good reason to wait. I am glad you are at peace with it. You know, I live 6 hours from Vegas, have my whole life, and I have never been. I AM only 22, so I've got time, but I've heard it's a ton of fun. Like Sarah said, TTC will be here when you're ready.

I didn't care for Vegas either. I was 20 wks pregnant and hated the smoke. I was there for work so it was a free vaction type thing. I did enjoy myself a bit with eating though.

I'm glad I saw it but it's not my thing.

I've never been to Vegas, and I have absolutely ZERO desire to go! Never appealed to me! I don't know.... I don't like being around a lot of people, I prefer quieter settings!!!

No matter when you decide to TTC, the timing will be perfect for you and Will and Reid and that's all that matters!!! But like Lisa said, I'm excited to see another little mini you/Will running around. Reid to too cute for words!!!!
