So I am starting my baby room today!! It is all painted and the curtain rod hung. I am moving a little shelf thing from Ikea up there and hanging some stuff too. I got a load of handmedowns from SIL yesterday, here's hoping its a boy! lol So when I say this room is small, I mean it is SMALL. I'm not even going to try to get a crib I decided, I'm going to get one of those cosleeper bassinets that also turns into a playpen. I wanted all matchy Ikea baby furniture but honestly it wouldnt fit. So i'm going to have to rethink how to do this baby room. I want some sort of unit that has storage (ie drawers) but can also double as a changing table....and it has to be relatively small...i also really wanted to put a bed of some sort in there for me, like a futon or single bed or daybed, but i'm so not sure how that's going to fit. maybe the day bed would be best cuz then i can just pull the cosleeper up to it, and it takes up the least room of all and kinda looks cute...hmmm.

here's hoping we move to a house before i need a big crib!!! lol

Have you thought about the cribs that have like 4-5 drawers on them AND a changing table? BRU sells them for about 350

How exciting! I hope the crib/dresser combo works will work out for you. That should perhaps help with the space limitations.

Oooo exciting! I started organising the babies room last weekend. We got the cot up, and manged to keep a single bed, chest of draws and some shelves in there.... just. Just have to put away all the nappies and clothes then will buy a mattrass for the cot and will take some photos for you girls!

When are you moving?
