Its not dinner time so nothing. All we can make is spaghetti anyway so I dont know if dh and i will eat, we'll just make the kids their chicken nuggets and some green beans :/
Seamus has to go get his stitches out at 7 tonight and he doesn't get back from PSR till 6pm so we're pushing things.

A good wholesome meal any mother would make, right?

We just drove for 8 hours today, so I am making a super lazy dinner of spaghetti and jarred sauce The alternate was getting take-out (which is what I really wanted to do) but that's been getting too expensive lately!

Lastnight MIL made a HUGE batch of corn chowder in the slow cooker so we had that for dinner with buns and cheese. So delicious! I was craving it and now my fridge is FULL of it for whenever I want haha.

Tonight I'm making chicken picatta with a vegetable tian. It will be my first time making both. The vegetable tian is just olive oil and sliced veggies (eggplant, onion, summer squash, and tomatoes) layered in a baking dish with fresh cloves of garlic (a whole head, seperated but unpeeled) and fresh sprigs of herbs on top. It is baked for 40 min. I hope they both turn out well!
