Amara started preschool last Monday (6th Sep) and she was really great. She only cried the first day for about 5 minutes after I left and then I was told she kept looking around for me for about 20 minutes but after that she got in to the swing of things. The rest of the week went smoothly.
Unfortunately, with preschools come many germs/bugs and it seems like she picked up a bug. She began vomiting on Sunday and yesterday I took her to see the doctor. She has been on Pedialyte since and this morning we're trying dry cereal. She's much better and I think is on the road to a speedy recovery. I'm thinking that I'll keep her out for the rest of the week and she'll start again next week. I just don't want her exposed again so soon with her defenses not at 100%.

Resi, the book bag doesn't have in 1 book. LOL! I just thought it would be cute to use that as her bag. It has her change of clothing, etc.

Beth, we started potty training and taking it slowly. She's learning to indicate when she feels the need to do something. They also teach potty training at the preschool.
Just for clarity since I'm not sure how the preschools are in the US, UK, etc but it's not like she's getting ready for school yet. It's just a bit more structured in the activities than some of the day cares/nurseries. Sometimes here all that happens in a day care or nursery is someone keeping your child for the day. The may sing a few rhymes and stuff but nothing much. With the preschools it more about learning by doing fun things and they have a better structure but not like a classroom setting or anything like that.

I LOVE HER!!!!!! But I know I tell you that all the time! I can't believe how grown up she's getting, she needs to stop!!! Thats a cute lil house she's got there too!

The playhouse was a great buy. She absolutely loves it. She has a lot of toys stashed away in it too.
Amy, we're going to have to meet up some day!!! And, we need an update on Baylen and some more pics. I know I see them on FB but I like to see them here too.
