I have been telling my midwives for weeks that this bleeding and clotting isn't normal. This morning I woke up to sheets soaked in blood. I got up and went to the bathroom and passed a fist sized clot. I dressed myself and Ash and went straight to the closest ER. After an ultrasound and bloodwork they decided I have a retained placenta. So I'm home packing my bags and then heading to the hospital where I delivered to have an emergency D&C. Please think good thoughts that everything will go smoothly and I can get back home to my baby quickly.

I'm so sorry you have to experience that. That is what happened to me after I lost my baby last year - it's not a nice experience. Hope it all goes smoothly for you and is over quickly.

Her latest status does not look good ladies:
"Mercy can't do the surgery. Too risky. Being transferred to Magee. If they fail I will need a hysterectomy. Please keep the good thoughts coming."
