This year I think Reid will understand what is going on so I wanted him to be something that he liked. He LOVES football, so I am making him a football player costume! The ones at the costume stores are kind of crappy (in my opinion) so I got him an authentic jersey (UCLA...didn't really care what team, lol) and I'm going to sew in shoulder pads. Then, I am going to buy him black pants and sew them to look like the ones that players wear. I am considering going to a sports store to see if they sell little cleats that will fit his feet. He will have the black stripe under his eye. The only thing I can't figure out is a helmet. Hmm....
So, what is your LO going to be? If you are buying something, add a pic!
Preggos, anyone going to paint their belly?! I remember Shannon and Angela's!! hehe. Loved it.

We want to dress her up as a ladybug (her nickname my dad and stepmom gave her). I want something light because sometimes it can be warm outside here in Georgia.

There are these sleepers at BRUS that look like bears, with fur, ears, everything. Naturally i got like 15 of them at my baby shower.

I am thinking monkey or tiger. There's a couple mom to mom sales I'm going to the first weekend in Oct and if I don't see anything there I'll start looking around in stores.

Great and cute costumes, ladies!
I'm not sure if they do anything at Amara's preschool but it's not a big thing for us. If they're doing something, I will have to find a costume. I have no idea what that would be. I guess I will ask tomorrow just so I will have time to prepare if they are doing something.

Oliver is going to be a spider. I got his costume last year when it was on sale at Pottery Barn Kids. He is going to HATE Halloween. He doesn't like strangers, he is super shy, he hates stuffed animals and anything on his head. I'm going to be shoving him in a puffy spider costume that includes a hat type thing. Then the going to strangers homes to ask for candy... It's not going to go well. I'm hoping it will end up better than I think it will.

LOL, Resi....poor Oliver!! I felt bad taking Reid trick-or-treating last year. He was NOT used to staying up past 7:30 and we kept him out until 9:30. He just sat in his little lion costume staring off into space while we pulled him around in his wagon...he was SO tired and semi freaked out. haha.
However, he LOVES candy so I think this year will be okay I bought DH a bag of snickers and he gave Reid a bite....he was asking for "More chocolate?!" all day. Oy!

I got all their costumes at Old Navy.
They picked them out themselves.

Lily is completely head over heels in love with Ariel so she's going as the Little Mermaid. I'm trying to find a Flounder costume for Violet.

Angela, LOL! Doesn't do the stabbing motion with a knife, LMAO. You need to put that on there as a developmental milestone on his facebook notes when he does. I can see it now...
-says mama
-points
-makes stabbing motion with knife
I think we are taking him to the city's Halloween town thing on the 30th. Then maybe we'll trick or treat at just a couple neighbor's houses on the 31st. I think that'll work out well b/c the thing on the 30th we can go early so he's not up super late.

I'm not sure we're doing Trick-or-Treating this year. If we do, Edward will probably go as Scooby Doo since he's obsessed with that show. And Preston will be a monkey or a spider. Again, unsure of what they'll be. If we decide on going trick or treating this year, I'll be staying home. Pretty sure I'll be too huge and tired to walk around the neighborhood. It's exhausting just going to the mailbox and Mason is already putting a lot of pressure on my lower abdomen.

A deviled egg?! LOL
and LOL at Angela and the stabbing....oh geesh LOL
I think it takes a while for them to really get in to it. Last year was the first year Brady really got into it and he thought all the people giving him suckers was the most amazing event of his life!
