So i have been looking around online to see if I can find newborn cloth diapers that I like and really i'm just coming up with nothing. I have no idea what to get. Any suggestions? Or anyone wanting to sell their NB diapers?

I didn't use the CDs much when she was a newborn. They were sooo big on her! I had OS and NB ones, AI2s and prefolds, and they were so huge. I bought way too many of them, but I use the AI2s now and the prefolds are handy for just general purpose burp cloths, clean up rags, something for Charlotte to chew on, and super handy to put under her bum while changing her. We use a waterproof pad and then a prefold to soak up any pee incase she gets a wild hair while we are changing her.
Oh and she has eczema prone skin and the prefolds gave her diaper rash quickly since she was potentialy completely wrapped in wet cotton. Everything we use now is fleece lined or we use fleece liners. But even with fleece liners the prefolds still have problems since they wrap around her hips.
Anyway, so I guess I'm trying to say anything will be big. While prefolds can be handy even later, I wouldn't go overboard on them. I think OS are great, but they won't fit well until probably about 2 or 3 months, and Charlotte was big. And be ready to use disposables the first few days because their poo will really stain the diapers at that stage.

I bought 24 infant sized prefolds, 2 snappis, and 4 Thirsties Duo Wraps and I have some sposies on hand from when the girls were babies. I plan on doing laundry daily. I have 10 Nubunz pocket diapers and we're getting ready to order 10-12 bumGenius 4.0 pockets soon.

I'm full of suggestions depending on what you are looking for. Do you think you want to use AIO's closest to disposables? Or maybe fitteds with covers? Prefolds aren't fancy, but i hear are great for the NB stage.

Prefolds and covers!!! They grow so fast at the beginning you don't want to invest a lot in a bunch of diapers they out grow quickly. We loved our prefolds and size 1 duo covers.

I loved Kissaluvs size 0's with Thirsties Duos covers. Prefolds were okay but I just didn't feel that comfy with them. I thought lil joeys were a waste of time because Ash peed right out of them by the time she was a week old. Otherwise I love our BG 4.0's but you'd have to wait until baby's cord stump falls off.

I'm a big fan of fitteds and covers, specifically Kissaluv fitteds size zero and Thirsties covers size x-small. It's cheaper than pockets or AIOs and the fitted/cover combo is awesome at holding in runny newborn poop.

thanks ladies! i was thinking of getting some little fitteds & covers since i knew that AIO's didnt really fit teensy babies. i already have lots of prefolds/covers for when baby is around 15 lbs, plus a bunch of other diapers for that size and bigger. i just hate to buy something like this new because i feel like its such a waste since they only wear them for such a short time, kwim? i will check out the suggestions and see what i can find, if it comes down to it too i know theres a CD lending package they do at a place near here, but its pretty expensive too....though cheper than buying all new for sure.
