I had my ultrasound. I came out of the subway and i was basically at the door of the ultrasound place so i figured i'd go in under the ruse that i wanted to see about a cancellation before thursday, but i really just needed to pee so i wanted to use their washroom. i had a little bit of spotting-ish stuff today so i'm a bit on guard but it wasn't very bad so i thought it would be cool if there was a cancellation but no big whoop if there wasnt. plus i'd get to take a whiz. well wouldnt u know, she said i could go right in for the u/s!! so i called dh and asked if he could come, but he couldnt and i really wanted to go in, plus we are doing the 3D ultrasound anyways. I guess you are wondering what they saw between the baby's leg........

The cord!!!!!! however she looked at the baby from like 20 different angles and she said she saw no trace of a penis and she did see the 'three lines' a few times....... so she said she's around 75% sure ITS A GIRL!!!
i'm so in shock. i'm not totally convinced! i want to book my 3D ultrasound like NOW so we can try and see if 'she' really is a girl!

Probably really is a girl! That's how it all went with Nora and I was only 16 weeks along or something! YIPPEE for a pretty little girl!!!!

i told DH right away...i think we were both in shock. luckily i found a place close by that has a tuesday gender determination special. we go tomorrow at 12 noon. i hope baby cooperates! honestly i'm just not convinced that it's 100% a girl, cuz i saw the cord right in the money spot. i will be excited if it's a girl!! and it will be all kind of new and different for me...eeeeeeeeek!!!!!!!!!

the gender determination is only 2D but it's more accurate for gender determination than the 3D scans.....and we don't get pictures tomorrow, but i got some cute ones from today that i will put on FB at some point. my baby is so cute regardless of whatever flavour it is! seriously every time i look at the ultrasound pic i start welling up, i dunno what's with me today. i'm about to cry right now!!

I thought it was a girl all along! Congrats! I scheduled an elective U/S the day after my gender scan too. (of course teddy kept us in the dark on that one)

My DH can't go today  so i'm going to reschedule it for next week.
i'm getting more convinced its a girl....maybe i will look at some pink stuff today  or purple, my fave girl colour!
