So I saw another OB today, instead of one of the midwives, and she was the one that discharged Rylie and I from the hospital and she's so awesome. I gained 1lb so I'm up 13 total putting me at 164. I got my group B strep test done and.... I'm 1 centimeter dilated and 75% effaced She said his head is "right there" But the best news.... she said since I'm controlling my GD so well that she'll take induction off the table and wants me to go naturally since I don't want an epi and wants me to be able to get in the shower, move around, ect.... have I mentioned that this is an OB and NOT a midwife?! LoL... anyway, I'm so thrilled. Apparently on my chart it says with Rylie: 40 weeks 5 days I was 2 centimeters and 50% effaced... I'm already more effaced at almost 36 weeks than what I was with Rylie at almost 41 weeks!
My other news is we're getting pre-qualified for a house and will hopefully find something, settle, and move by mid February

Yay! Seth could come any time (after 37 weeks!)! And I'm going to use your OB if we ever do this again!

You don't have to have an epi if you are induced. Trust me LOL BTDT. They had to induce me after my water broke and I wasn't contracting. And no pain meds at all. And YAY!!!!! for all the good news!

Thanks ladies! Yeah I was induced with only gel the last 2 times and had an accidental pain med free delivery. What I was worried about was being induced at 39 weeks, my cervix not being ready or something, and it ending in c-section. She asked how I felt about induction and I told her what went down with my epi last time and how I have permanent damage from it and that I'd like to avoid it if I can and I told her how my last inductions were only done with gel and if I could be guaranteed the same births I'd be all for induction but I know that can't be done. She agreed and said no 2 labors are alike and I'd hate for us to start with gel and for whatever reason have it not work, you need pit, then you *may* feel the need for any epi and all of that could have been avoided in the first place if we hadn't induced since he's not too big at all and you're doing fine I REALLY hope this all works out
