With a little help from my dh's assistant i was able to get him out of the office today & he came for the ultrasound! Seriously it was the best $25 I ever spent! It was pretty long, like at least 15 min and she checked out the gender really well and then showed dh all the other cool stuff too. He got to see her moving all around, which he really liked. i always love seeing and feeling her move at the same time, its so cool. We also got 5 pictures, one of the junk & 4 others of profile, body, limbs etc. Honestly, this private u/s place rocks, i mean even at my 'free' ultrasounds at the hospital (ie covered by government health plan) i would have had to pay $5 a picture. And we literally waited 2 minutes to get in, it was awesome! Then we had a nice lunch and i went to his office to brag about my baby girl to everyone there hehe

And i got my stash of nb diapers that i scored off sara-b today!! yay!! i'm so excited!!

now if only i could figure out where the dog shat in my apt this day would be perfect......lol

That's so great!! You're gonna love having a girl! And wow, only $25?? When I had DD #2 they finally got a 3D u/s place in my area and a simple Gender Scan was $75.. maybe because they were still 'new' at the time... Congrats again!! And GL with the dog.

Congrats again on your little girl! I wish there was an ultrasound place like this here, I think I'd go every couple of weeks just to see him

It's crazy the hospital makes you pay for pictures! My hospital gave me 5-7 pics from both of my ultrasounds.

this was a 2D ultrasound, and all i did was phone them up and ask cuz i had been in there for a few other ultrasounds & it was so convenient. they dont advertise that they do this, youd have to phone up and ask. we still might do the 3D one later on.....but i dunno, i'm not like crazy gung ho about doing it, though of course it would be cool! but it's at least $200.....eek!

oh rach, i missed replying to u somehow....we are thinking of other names but i still like the original girl name we chose the best.....i'm apparently really super picky!

and amy i sorta found out at my anatomy scan, but the cord was between her legs so they weren't really all that sure. i sure as heck wasn't convinced by what she showed me on the screen that day...so that's why we went back in again. and we saw the 'three line sign' this time and there was really no sign of a penis! lol
