Ok so my gyno is the best in the area....even out of area people come to him. that's great right? Yeah sure....except it takes MONTHS to get in with him unless you are pg (he has a pregnancy day lol) so I make my yearly exams a year in advance every year. Well when I had my abnormal pap I had to go back in 6m (tht was April) all was well then so it had me at a year. given all the problems I've been having I wanted to go in sooner but they are sooo booked. I got a call that I had an appt. TODAY! at 1:30! I was sooo happy! They hadn't canceled my other appt! So I called to see if they could just change the type of appt. and my dr said they couldn't That if I came in I'd get stuck with the $300 bill because my insurance would say it was too soon! So I can't go in BUT he did order me an ultrasound to see if there's anything in there!

I will never understand how the insurance thing in the US works. Cheers to snagging a u/s.

yeah I don't even understand it. I mean why couldn't they just change the billing code? and I'm happy for the u/s.....maybe they can fix me!

That sucks.. I'm guessing it depends on your insurance plan,etc.. At least they were kind enough to tell you before scheduling, so you don't get stuck with a bill..
