Last week was Lochy and today is Lila's turn. Her fever finally broke after having it for 3 days but now she's got this blotchy rash all over her head. She's still miserable and while she's not showing signs her ears are bothering her I want to make sure there is no infection. She's been especially inconsollable today which is soooo not like her.

Thanks! She's on the mend. The rash is a biproduct of the virus. After I thought about it a bit I remembered the same thing happened to Liam when he was 5 months old--got a virus and rash because of it. While it has spread to the rest of her body the dr. said its a sign of the virus leaving her system so she's getting better.

We're getting family pictures done Saturday afternoon (my whole family as a present to our parents) so I just hope its cleared up by then.

Yeah, she's definitely uncomfortable with these hives. They've gone away on the rest of her body except her head and part of her face. Ian was holding her while I was eating dinner and she kept rubbing her head all over his beard to scratch it. I ended up giving her a bit of benadryl just so she could get some relief and actually be able to sleep for a change because everytime she'd start to drift off she'd wake up crying and rubbing her head/face against me.
