This is a tradition that I started last year for london. Its a book that comes with a little elf. You read your child the story of how the elf watches you during the day then reports to santa at night then in the morning the elf is in a new place. (the kids have to find it each morning!). Its a fun tradition and I normally start it right after thanksgiving. Anyway I know a couple people last year showed interest in it but it was to late by the time I brought it up. so here it is again with time to order it and have it by thanksgiving!
