1. What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? I don't have one favorite thing.. I like to have it all together and then it all tastes so good. The stuffing and cranberry sauce is something I only have around the holidays so it's a must. I love my homeade cranberry sauce.
2. And what type of food do you wish wouldn't show up on your table at Thanksgiving? Hmmm.. maybe marshmellows on sweet potatoes.. that is gross to me but I love sweet potatoes with the pecan topping.

My fave food would be potatoes for any day...doesn't really matter how they're done. Mashed, fried, scalloped, etc. I love potatoes. Also alfredo pasta with chicken or shrimp.
Our Independence - local dish called cou cou and fish (cod, flying fish, tuna, salmon)
Christmas - Fruit cake and ham

I hold my own Thanksgiving celebration. My German side of the family always seems to love it.
1. What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? I really love it all. Thanksgiving is my fav meal of the year. I love the turkey and gravy, and its a bonus if there is a spiral ham, as well. And I made a homemade cornbread stuff last year that was delish.
2. And what type of food do you wish wouldn't show up on your table at Thanksgiving? I agree with Resi, sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top are nasty.

my favourite part is the PIE! i think i ate almost a whole lemon merangue pie to myself this year lol i also really like stuffing with gravy on it. and at christmas i LOVE ham, FIL makes an amazing ham.
i usually like everything but this year the potatoes we used were really starchy and they were way too dense, i like them nice and fluffy. so after peeling 10lbs of potatoes i didnt even eat them!!

1. What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? My mom's stuffing! Which is funny because I would not even eat it until around college age. As a kid it looked like it had too much "stuff" in it so I wouldn't eat it. I also love mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese.
2. And what type of food do you wish wouldn't show up on your table at Thanksgiving? My husband's family has salad! I'm not so thankful for salad.
