As some of you have seen, I have my wedding dress! Wednesday night I went with my mom, sister and 2 of my bridesmaids. We were only going to try dresses on, I in no way was ready to buy "the dress".. or so I thought. I told them how I had been once before and there was a dress that I really liked and I wanted to try it on again. In the mean time, there were some other dresses that the consultant wanted me to try so I went with it. The first dress I tried on was a strapless a-line with rouching (SP?) (pictures below) it was a brand new style and no one had ever tried it on in the store before. Out of 300 stores, its only available to 5, so its a pretty unique dress. I loved it everything about it. The 2nd dress I tried on was pretty, but I felt stiff. There was no way I would be able to dance in it. The 3rd dress felt like a doily. It was lace and flowers and just not my kind of dress. Then the 4th dress was a nightmare. I have nothing against color in a wedding dress, but this one just didnt do it for me. They told me no one had ever tried this one on either because it too was brand new. I will probably also be the last to try it on.. I felt like a chinese food take out box. No lie, it had the sharp corners at the neck line and all. Dress # 5 was the dress I had tried on the last time and liked. I kept going back to that first dress of the night. I thought "well maybe because this one is in ivory and i want bright white" so she had me try on a similar dress in bright white. I liked it, but again my mind went back to the 1st dress. I put the 1st dress back on, and lets just say they MADE me take it off to change to go home! And then of course, my mom being amazing, offered to buy the dress for me. So last night we bought my wedding dress, and now I cant stop looking at pictures. I want to wear it, like right now! I think it was fate, it was also the only dress that I tried on that I could actually get zipped up all the way! haha
