Yep, I'm still looking for CDs. I bought one flip diaper with the cloth insert and thought it was a little... awkward? With the flaps to hold the diaper in place? I dunno. I loved the stretchy tabs though.

Anyway, I'm thinking about wool. Anyone used it? Liked it? Do you change the cover each time baby pees? How does it work? Is it as bulky as I'm imagining?

Also, a question about pocket diapers as I've never used them... do you change the entire diaper each time babies pee or just the insert?

Also, will wool last a long time? Like for next baby?

Oh and is wool good all the way through diapering? Like with toddlers on the move?

I have no idea about wool but for the pocket diapers, you change the diaper every time. I love my Flip cover! I use all my old pocket diaper inserts with them with a fleece liner and it ends up being the trimmest diaper I have!

I did really like the flip in that it was really quite trim. And I can't get over the super elastic tabs, love those. I guess I'm just used to snap ins, though. The flaps didn't really seem to hold anything in place. And the way you fold down the insert is a little awkward IMO. I would worry they would bunch when she starts walking.

We LOVE pockets!!! Never leak for us. And yes you change them every time. The pocket is just nice because you can add more stuffing if you need to.

I haven't used wool on Teddy yet, but yes it lasts forever. Two of Teddy's wool covers are over 20 years old. (mine from when i was a baby) And yes it can be used multiple times before washing.

ETA- cotton babies is having a buy 5 get 1 free sale on their pockets.

Oooo thanks for the info on the sale Alice!

I read that you need to air out the wool ones after using them. So does that mean you can't use them for back to back wet diapers?

i think it depends on how wet they get, i'm sure you can make a judgement call. I alternate between my pul covers, i'm sure its the same with wool.
