Their is this out door cat that me and my neighbor have both been taking care of. The other day we noticed it had a tick so Chris removed it, and today we noticed it had like 5 of them!!! We removed them all but it left nasty boo boos behind. Is that the right thing to do?? Anything I should be worried about???

I double checked to make sure you can use peroxide and neosporin daily.

You can peroxide it after initally removing it, then treat with neosporin to help heal the boo boo, just make sure the cat doesn't lick that area. Depending on the type of tick, or how common lymes disease is in your area (It is pretty high risk here) you may want to watch out for signs of lymes.

I'm not a vet, but I am a vet tech student so I hope this helps!

You wanna get some Flea/Tick prevention and put it on the cat. It will help keep the ticks off. Ticks can cause Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Fever in animals. The ticks will keep coming back unless some kinda prevention is put on

Frontline is the way to go. Stay away from the cheap stuff like Hartz, biospot and the all natural stuff -- it does not work.
