So yesterday I had cramps and some pink spotting. I assumed I was getting my period back but today I haven't had anything. I am supposed to get my Mirena in on Friday but up until now we haven't been using any protection, as breastfeeding is usually keeps women from ovulation for a least the first few months . Did anyone else have spotting like this while breast feeding?

I was about to post that I didn't have any spotting until my AF came back for good. BUT.. after giving it more thought I believe I did have some VERY light spotting a few times with no AF before my cycles got back on track.

I've had spotting but I assumed it was from my IUD. Maybe it's normal then?

I can't remember but AF came back 2 months pp for me so it's possible your bodies getting ready for AF to come again.

I had a couple times right before I got AF where I had some spotting, she officially came back when Kylie was not even 3 months old and I was exclusively BFing then! I was surprised by that. So it's possible you'll be getting it back soon.

With both Curtis and Dustin I got my AF 2 or so months after they were born, and both were EBF.

With AJ I have had a couple days of spotting but barely there! I keep thinking AF is going to start but it doesn't. I EBF him.

With Liam, I didn't have anything and got pregnant with Lochy before I got my first pp af--Liam was 10 1/2 months when we conceived Loch.

With Lochy I didn't have anything til my first pp af when he was 13 1/2 months old. Cycles were awfully screwed up though.

With Lila I got some pink spotting a few months ago, just one time though. I've been getting crampy on and off but I think its just my body trying to ovulate. I'm pretty sure I'm several months away from that happening though since she's still almost exclusively breastfed--she'll have a taste of food every now and then (maybe once a week.
