Curtis' favs are grilled cheese, chicken rice and corn, alpheghetti, and pasta with ketchup... well anything that has ketchup, oh and mac and cheese, hotdogs, and peaches and cottage cheese. He's picky in the sense that he likes typical kid stuff... however he does fruit okay and most veggies.

Dustin will eat ANYTHING. I think the only thing he doesn't seem to like is tomatoes and lettuce. He always eats everything on his plate and then mooches off of ours... haha.

I hope she starts eating soon for you!

Have you tried Peanutbutter sandwiches? When I was little I would not eat anything at all but PB sandwiches.

Wish I had more ideas, but my son is a human garbage disposal and will eat anything and everything. I hope you find something.

Yep, Taylor's the exact same way. Breakfast it's usually cinnamon toast and milk, sometimes a pop tart. Lunch it's either PB&J, cream cheese and crackers, peanut butter crackers, string cheese, bananas, oranges, grapes, and juice. Dinner is chicken nuggets, nitrate free hot dogs, mac n cheese, spaghetti Os... it's REALLY hard and annoying to be honest LoL. There isn't much variety but she makes it that way on herself...

I'm not much help. Amara's eating has improved greatly since she started school but some days are still bad.

Yesterday morning, she didn't want to eat anything for breakfast (apples, hotdog, grilled cheese - I offered her all these). I eventually got her to eat some yogurt around mid-morning. For lunch, I made pasta with veggies and cheese which she usually loves but she didn't want it. I tried cheese sandwiches and she refused to eat those too. She feel asleep around 1:30PM and I had to wake her about 4:15PM, I was sure she would be starving and would eat the lunch or sandwiches but nope, she wanted biscuits. So I got some digestive biscuits and placed cheese with them and she ate that. For dinner, I tried grilled cheese but she wouldn't eat it and she refused anything else I tried. For bedtime, she drank about 5oz of milk (I put 9oz in her cup).

She ate well on Saturday so I'm just going to say that it's just a toddler thing and will pass.

Here's the typical list of foods Amara has (most are the same as yours). She's not good with trying new stuff and she does not like PBJ, jellies or jams. she will try a few other things but these are the usual.

Fresh fruit or fresh fruit salad (apples, pears, strawberries, bananas, grapes, oranges)
Applesauce
Yogurt
Grilled Cheese (regular bread/flat bread)
Cheese and crackers
Pasta (any kind) with cheese and veggies (broccoli, carrots, peas, corn)
Rice and veggies
Chicken (baked/grilled)
Fries/Wedges (home-made)
Digestive Biscuits
Cheerios/Kashi's Heart to Heart
Bagels and cream cheese
Hot-dogs
Buttermilk biscuits
Ham & Cheese sandwiches (regular bread, flat bread)
Raisins/Cranberries

Oliver has always been a picky eater and a small eater. Some days I feel like I'm starving him and feeding him is something I never look forward.

The things he will usually eat but will still refuse if he hasn't eaten it a few days in a row are: cottage cheese, yogart, blueberries and other berries, pears, peaches, mac & cheese, pizza, plain noodles with butter, scrambled eggs, toast, ducky crackers (like goldfish), certain chips, popcorn, chicken, chicken noodle soup, lentil soup, black bean tomato soup. (there might be other foods but those are what I can think of)

He is awful at eating veggies and I wish he would get better at it. He will sometimes eat peas, carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I mix peas and carrots in his soup. He usually won't try new things.

Liam is my picky eater, that kid doesn't eat anything! Seriously though, if there was suddenly no peanut butter in the world, he'd starve to death.

We mainly do pancakes, waffles, english muffins for breakfast. The only fruit either of the boys will eat is bananas.

For lunch/dinner its peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter crackers, peanut butter and fluff, fish sticks (we call them crunchy sticks otherwise they won't eat them), cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets or chicken fries, homemade pizza, grilled cheese (we have to call it special toasted sandwich) and veggie chips.

Lochy will eat all pastas, mac n cheese, eggplant parm, etc. He loves italian food.

The only way they get any fruits or veggies in them is by drinking V8 fusion. If it wasn't for that I'd be really worried about them. Liam especially will even refuse the most common of kid foods--like hotdogs, mac n cheese, pasta, etc.

It really gets frustrating that he won't branch out and now Lochy is watching what he does and is refusing things as well. It's especially frustrating when Liam will all of a sudden pitch a fit about food he used to like and now won't eat.

The stuff they do like I will try and make a little healthier--I put protein powder in pancakes (and other baked goods), mix in fruit/veggies purees where I can, just in general try and be sneaky about it. lol

I've also come to find that if we make up a different name for things they'll be more inclined to try them. Like the fish sticks--they tell me ewwwww I hate fish, but when we call them crunchy sticks they gobble them down!

We're working with Seamus' OT (for his Sensory Processing Disorder) on his eating. He's been eating the same things for 3yrs now and getting him to try something new is a meltdown for both sides.
He eats random things, his OT was surprised with how random his things are.

I'm not fully awake after 4hrs of sleep and Seamus woke up throwing up and now he's acting just fine, but I'll try to work on a list (or find the one I started for his OT).

How does Landen drink? Oliver only takes little sips here and there. He has NEVER drank like a sippy of milk or juice. I wondered how Landen did since he bf too.

Amy - I took Oliver out for Indian food today for lunch. I was in the mood for it. It was maybe his third time going with me. He ate about 8 bites of food and some of the bread. I was surprised he was willing to try everything and even took more bites considering Indian food kind of looks weird. I always try to keep exposing him to different foods so that he will try it one day.

Justine -love your siggy!!!

I hope Seamus is alright.

My mom always tells me that a child will not starve him/her-self so I just try to remember that when the little missy does not want to eat but it can be a pain because sometimes I fix 3/4 different meals and she refuses all.

I remember you saying before Oliver is a picky eater. Cambria is a small eater too! She would never finish her whole plate even if there's barely anything on it. This drives me crazy cause I think she's not eating enough. She does like eggs sometimes but will only eat them about once a week. She used to like Chicken but wont touch it now. Nor will she eat beef, turkey, etc..SHe eats fish sometimes. Thats what were having tonight so im hoping she will eat it. Cambria will try new things but may only have 1 or 2 bites of it and thats it.

Wow she eats about like Brayden. He eats:

bacon

frozen pancakes and waffles....he eats so many I get them frozen because it's fast and I can't stand in the kitchen all day long fixing pancakes! (He can eat 10+ a day!) I put a few swirls of redi whip on them.

Pepperoni Pizza

Cheese puffs, plain chips, crackers, cookies, cakes

Smiley face potatoes (frozen foods section)

Chicken salad sandwich (canned or bagged white meat chicken, shred, mix with a bit of mayo)

Yogurt

Ice cream

icing (bleck! We use as rewards!)

French fries

chicken strips/nuggets/tenders

battered fish

toast with butter

grilled cheese

dry cereal

Sadly, I think that is just about it! He used to eat anything!
and i give him vitamins too.

he will drink milk from a cup with a straw but only if he is super thirsty. He has always hated sippy cups too and he wont touch juice. The little faces he makes when I try to give him juice are too funny lol!!!

Brayden wouldn't drink anything at all until he was completely weaned, and then it was only water or chocolate milk.

Matthew has phases of being picky and it drives me crazy when he turns down something that he normally loves! Add to that he can't have anything with dairy and ugh! I hate that! Life would be so much easier if he could have dairy.

Lately he's been eating some guacamole (comes in little bags premade) and hummus. He likes the Gorton's fish fillets, I get the kind that aren't battered. Cinnamon raisin bagels are a staple lately. I make oatmeal for me and put frozen berries (strawberry, blueberry, etc) and the berry juice gets in the oatmeal and he likes that way better than just plain oatmeal.
