Who did it? I keep hearing about how important it is and that i might cut off circulation to my baby if i lie on my back or right side. this causes me major middle of the night guilt because i wake up in these 'bad' positions and then lie there for like 20 min waiting to see if my baby is still moving. Also sleeping on the left side every single night can get kind of uncomfortable....i've only gained 9 lbs so its not like my tummy is that huge, can i really harm my baby by not sleeping on my left side? Sleeping is rough enough as it is, guilt over this is the last thing i need keeping me up at night but it still is

I didn't adhere to it. In fact I believe I slept on my right side waaayyyy more than my left. I didn't gain much weight either but my belly was humongous so I basically slept however it was comfortable.

I slept on my left side because that was the side I normally slept on. I did wake a lot to find myself on my back and I have never been a back sleeper.

Rarely, I hate sleeping on my left side This is weird but whenever I'm pregnant, laying on my left side makes me really nauseous LoL.

I slept on my back until I was too big and it started hurting.. Then I would toss and turn from side to side all night..

I sleep in whatever position I'm comfortable. Sometimes on my left, sometimes on my right side, sometimes on my back.

I miss sleeping on my tummy though!

This babe is oblique breech on the left side so I physically cannot sleep on my left side. I sleep mostly on my right side and occasionally on my back, don't stress about it!

I had to sleep on my right side to relive the pressure off my left kidney. Then when my blood pressure was getting a bit to high I had to sleep on my left side hahaha! I don't think it really matters too much. I think sleeping on your back hurts you more then baby too.

I slept on my back until I could not breath any longer which was around 33 weeks. I'd occasionally be on my side as well. I was on my left side at the end because it was the only position comfortable for me.

That really only pertains to women who are having BP issues, Cardiac issues or wt placement issues. You aren't close to any of those. And SLEEPING is better for baby than not so just sleep how ever you want. I slept on my stomach till 38 weeks
They are very padded in there so if you can still sleep on your stomach and want to don't worry about it.

... Which was why the last 6 weeks I was on the left side. Less heart racing/palpitations, and I could breath better, and I did not feel like I was going to pass out.

I slept on my stomach till about 15 weeks. Then the bump was in the way!

Sleep however you feel comfortable sleeping!

I did most of the time after I passed the half-way mark and my tummy was showing more. It was too uncomfortable to sleep on my back and I got cramps when I did. I used to switch between the left and right but favored the left.

I sleep however I feel comfortable, which includes both sides and on my back!

I tried to start out on my left side (sometimes my right) but then I'd randomly wake up and somehow I was on my back! Tried not to stress about it and it didn't hurt him obviously.

Once you get to the point where it's not ok, you won't find yourself in those positions, it gets too uncomfortable! I am still at the point where I sometimes wake up on my back, and it's not uncomfortable so I don't stop myself. When I get farther along, back sleeping becomes impossible because it hurts my hips, but I sleep on both my right and left side.

oh she totally does! its so cute. i def can't sleep on my tummy or flat on my back, these are positions that the baby just simply does not approve of! if i'm on my back i half shove a pillow under one side of me, and if i lay too far onto my tummy when i'm on my side she will start tickling me on the side thats getting squished. um, i think i have a spoiled baby already!! lol
