My ticker says I have 99 days to go before my due date! I've often heard women say how slowly their pregnancy is going but I'm definitely not one of them. Didn't I have over 200 days to go like yesterday?

I'm really looking forward to meeting my boy, but I also feel like I am soooo not ready. We have almost everything we need, but I am terrified at the thought of having to take care of a newborn. I don't know anything about babies!

Wow, you're getting there!

I was the same way. I had never even held a newborn or even been in the presence of one until Taylor was placed in my arms... I was terrified. I held her in the hospital bed staring at her and crying because I was so afraid of hurting her LoL. It honestly took me a few days to feel comfortable picking her up! How crazy right? The fear WILL leave and it'll get much better after that

I hadn't been around little babies for a long time when Harper was born. You'll pick it up super quick.

I know EXACTLY how you feel!! We have everything set up, we are all ready to met our boy, but I have noooo fricken idea of how to take care of a newborn!! I've never really been around babies! This is the main reason I have my Mum coming to stay with me for the first week bubs arrives, and I've even practised bathing and changing my cousins 7 week old baby just to make myself realise I 'can' do it. I'm hoping these 'natural instincts' kick in and I will know what to do... if not, I have my Mummy to help me!

Yeah my mom is supposed to stay with us for a week too, though it will depend if she can take time off from work. But I was thinking I may prefer if she came a few weeks later, when Chris will go back to work. I think my first week alone with baby will be very scary.

Pregnancy does go fast! I know you will do great with your baby boy! I didn't know anything about babies and it came very easy to me. When it's your child it's natural. How is the name process going?

I think we found the name, but I'm not 100 % sure. We haven't decided if we want to share it before the birth yet.

That is a good idea - knowing my mother, she'll quite happily come back a few weeks later! How long is Chris taking off work? My DF is going to take two weeks off, we think...

He has 5 weeks of paternity leave and 4 weeks of vacation. But I think he'll take 2-3 weeks right after birth and the rest during the summer.
