Oh and I'm not sure if I told you all or not, but they did get my half bath in upstairs

I'm thinking about trim choices (baseboards, window casing...) and I've thought downstairs I could put stained trim to match the stair railing everywhere except the bathroom and laundry room and just do a painted trim there. Then I could take the stained trim up the steps and in the hall and sitting area at the top of the steps, then do painted trim in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Does that sound ok?

I don't know much about this part so I can't offer anything. I'd do a search or google or HGTV to see if there is something similar.
