I've decided that something is very wrong, and i'm waiting for the pedi office to open up so i can call in. I'm not sure if it's a food sensitivity, or reflux or what. Teddy's screaming has just reached new heights. He cries ALL the TIME! I nurse him and he's screaming as soon as i take him off. He screams when he burps, he screams after vomiting. He vomits all the time too. He arches and cries like he's in pain. He won't lie on his back at all. And those darn green mucousy diaper! I'm at my wits end. My poor baby

Poor baby! Sounds like he has a problem with milk sensitivity I hope your ped sheds some light on the situation!

first of all BIG HUGS!!!! that sounds very difficult. Not sure all that you have tried but have you given teddy some probiotics (this will help with refulx or allergies or most stomach issues). Takes about 5 days to make a difference and in some it can cause gas for a couple days but then that goes away. KUP on what the DR says!

It sounds like reflux. Poor boy.
With Seamus he would arch and stuff, he didn't scream often but he was always puking (projectile after every nursing). They told me that he was always nursing because it felt better to nurse then not, because the milk going down would sooth it.
I hope they can figure it out and help him fast.
Oh ya and I remember they said that between 2-6months was the prime time for reflux to hit and they were the worst months. So he's right in the age for it to hit.

yeah he does the constant eating thing when he's really upset, even though i know he's not hungry. It made me suspicious. He gets probiotics whever he has a bottle, and i'm going to cut out obvious milk sources. I'm hoping i can get an antacid from his doc.

Sounds like reflux and/or dairy sensitivity. The mucus makes me think dairy, everything else makes me think reflux. Matthew had reflux and he also wanted to nurse ALL the time. Try the probiotics, I think they did help Matthew a bit with his tummy and I'm about to try them again (he can tolerate dairy through my milk but he still can't eat it). If you get Culturelle for kids (at CVS, Walgreens, Target) it doesn't have any dairy in it (some do).
If you pedi does think it's reflux and wants to give medications...we had pretty good results with Prevacid. He still spit up a lot but it didn't seem to hurt him. Now we had a really tough time getting him OFF the Prevacid so if you do go that route, I just want to throw that out there that if they tell you that you can stop it cold turkey DON'T believe them! We had to wean Matthew off it very gradually, he spit up blood a couple times after quitting it suddenly.

Aww poor little guy! Hope you get your answer ASAP Taylor had colic BADLY from about 1 month to 9 months... it was insanely miserable and all she did was scream and slept no more than 4 hours in a 24 hour period... HORRIBLE. We found out it was a sensitivity to milk and switched her to soy formula and she did MUCH better. Once I weaned Rylie from BF at 5 months I went directly to soy formula to be on the safe side. At 12 months I put her on whole milk and wouldn't you know, she also has a milk allergy (more severe than Taylor's) and drinks soy milk now. If Seth ever has formula he'll have soy too. It seems like my kids have issues with milk LoL.

I'm sorry you and Teddy are going through this. I hope you get some answers from his dr. and he gets relief soon.
My cousin's baby was just diagnosed with severe reflux right before Thanksgiving (he's almost 5 months). As soon as they started his new meds she said he was a completely different baby!
