First snow storm of the season. I've heard 1-3, 2-5 and 3-6 for accumulation. So far we have about 3-4, it's been snowing this around 1 and supposed to get heavier squalls, then more accumulation tomorrow and Monday into Tuesday. We could get as much as 6-8" all together. And it's only Dec 5!

Yay for snow!

We are having a little break from snow this weekend.. Actually, it's been 2 weeks since the sun was shining and it was nice to see blue skies again.. Thanks to La Nina, we've had 30 inches of snow fall in November. We've already had an Artic blast at the end of November, record lows at -15. I'm already looking forward to spring.. lol

The total we got last month was 36.something which broke all the records...and they only predicted for us to get 15" in November. They are saying another 30" this month but they are worried we'll get more now. And I'm so thankful for the warm snap we have this week, loving the 34-36* temps! so much better then the negatives we had the last few weeks...and the sun scared me today, I was so used to the dark dankness

Feels like we are having a heat wave.. I still remember leaving for work at 5:00 am when we had that blizzard with the cold snap a few weeks ago. It must have been 1 degree and then add the wind chill.. I was soo cold, feezing in my Columbia down jacket. The blizzard put a huge burm (sp?) in front of our driveway.. I don't know how to use the snow blower, so I had to hand shovel a small section (we have a 3 car driveway) so my car could get out.. It was soooo cold.. I'm just thankful I have remote start on my car and A.J was safe in the car, nice and toasty.. I was also worried about other drivers that I switched A.J to his convertible car seat because I felt like he was more safer in it then his Chicco infant carrier..

I also didn't know we had 36 inches. It's been a crazy November..

Ya I was looking it up on Dec. 1st to see Spokane had 31" I think and the press said we had 33.4" at press time which was 4pm on the 30th and by midnight he was 36". Our Camry is stuck right now, I'm hoping enough has melted off that we can get it out. The plows plowed our street in where we park it since its hard to get it in the back where the garage is since the ally doesn't get plowed, but since the front got plowed in we had to go in the back and got stuck.

La Nina is supposed to mean an average to mild winter for us. that's why I'm so shocked! But it's mostly melted now with another 1-4 or 2-6 by Tuesday....we're right on the line between the two so I figure we'll get roughly 3 or 4 again.
