I know i haven't been around in FOREVER... I was lurking and couldn't help but post and say hi First off, i see a couple new preggo people!! Congrats to you!!!!

We're doing good for the most part. Camden is 7 months old and loves to roll everywhere and has lately learned how to army crawl so that's been exciting to watch! He had a hard time gaining weight so i started taking fenugreek and feeding him more and since then he's been gaining 3-4 oz. a week compared to basically nothing before. (I go to a new moms group weekly so that's how i weigh him so much ) His doctor freaked yesterday about his weight though and tried to convince me to do formula. I decided to try to give him some after he's done eating and see if it helps him gain anymore. So far he hates it. Oh and if you didn't read my FB status, the doctor gave him a flu shot without asking me so we are finding a new doctor.

That just about sums it up How are all of YOU doing?!

Hi Krista, I was actually going to post a message on your wall on FB asking if you talked to his doctor. I can't believe he gave Camden a flu shot without your consent!!! I'm glad that you are all doing well otherwise (beside the weight gaining!)!!!

We are doing well. I haven't been around JM much either! Edward is homeschooling and doing well with it. He loves it. I still don't have a lot of support from my family, but it's not their choice to make and they'll see that he's doing just fine as a homeschooled child. Preston is starting to sign less and talk more with us. Preston is also listening to me better than he did before. lol! Mason is only a month old so not really much to report there except that I got a real smile a week or so ago and he actually laughed a real laugh. And he's by far my best baby. Edward and Preston were very high strung children. Always crying and wouldn't sleep well at all. Mason sleeps great at night AND during the day and he is content to sit in his swing or bouncer while I clean and homeschool Edward. He hates baths but loves to have his hair washed! I'm doing well myself, I gained 17lbs during my pregnancy with Mason, I weighed 145lbs before I got pregnant with him, and now I weigh 142lbs. Before I had him, I could only fit into my size 8 jeans...now I can wear my size 5s and I haven't been able to fit into them since BEFORE I had Edward....so I'm feeling pretty good. Other than that, I'm just lacking some sleep and have a chaotic day with 3 boys, but all is really great here!

awwwwwww camden is such a sweetie pie! i've heard BF babies grow on a different schedule than formula babies and all the charts and whatnot that doc's use are based on formula fed babies. maybe worth a look into? awesome he is still getting the boob juice though!

i'm still preggo. she's tenderizing me as i type lol. i just love her!

Camden is adorable! I'm glad he's doing great and I'm sure he'll be packing on the pounds in no time or he may just be a small baby.

How is he with solids so far?

Brandi, it's great to hear from you and to hear that all is going well except for the family support. You're going to prove them wrong and that's major satisfaction in itself.

I'm glad you are looking for a new doc because yours seems like a bad apple to me!! I'm sure he is just fine with his weight. He seems to be a light weight like my Oliver and it's most likely just the way he is. Oliver has always been on the very bottom of the charts and his doc always says he is perfect.

Sounds like you're doing great Brandi!! I'm glad Mason is such an easy baby! As for the doctor, i talked to the nurse and she said that she assumes that she's giving the shot unless the doctor tells her otherwise. But she seemed to understand why i was upset. I switched to a different doc and i know from other people that she has people sign before giving shots. But duh, shouldn't they all?!

I've always just assumed he was skinny and tall but the doctor said he is only in the 1st percentile which seems really bad. But i'm pretty sure the reason is because he went awhile without gaining anything so he's behind other babies. I'm just feeding him lots and hoping he continues to gain enough. He has a doctor appointment in a week and a half so i'm going to see what his new doc has to say about it all. We started solids at 6 months and he really liked them but they gave him MAJOR constipation so i had to stop them I was even just giving him apples and pears but his body just isn't ready so i'll try again when he's a little older. I'm not going to stress about it though

He is so so so adorable! He has the exact same smile as your dh!

Solids constipated Lila at first too but she's good with them now. She also refuses all the pureed food I made for her, she started out on table food!

I really wouldn't worry about his weight. He sounds just like my boys. And I don't know if the doctor has seen you and your husband but you two are thin, so why wouldn't your son be? Seems like simple genetics to me. Liam was always in like the 3rd percentile and now I don't think he or Lochy are even on the charts they're so small. Just keep trusting yourself and doing what you think is best for him, you know best!
