I COULDN'T LIVE WITHout MIne! I have the ergo sport ( I find it lighter than the ergo so its less hot). The new ergo performance is suppose to be even lighter/more breathable.
Ergo sport doesn't have the extra pocket up front like the ergo....but for the difference in heat I think it worth the lack of pocket (And I just take the rain thing out and use that as a pocket).

Ditto!

There isn't anything I don't like about it. If I had to pick, I'd say I wish it could do a forward facing hold. I have the regular kind. I like the pocket b/c I can throw some money, eyes, etc in it when I'm shopping. Carrying the baby in it and a diaper bag on your shoulder is too much for me.

Angela did you try the new Ergo performance while you were in Houston? Can't remember if you did?

I LOVE my Ergo!!!!!!! I have both the organic and performance. There are perks to both but so far i like my organic the best all-in-all. It's just so comfy and soft. Both are great though! Definitely worth the money.

P.S. From what i've been hearing, they are supposed to be coming on babysteals sometime this month

I love my Ergo too! (and better yet - Nora loves it!) I have the regular and really don't find it getting too hot anymore now that she's bigger. (and she still at 18 months is very content riding in it....and now she really likes riding on the back!) I'm actually glad it doesn't face forward on the front because that position with almost all other carriers is bad for babies hips/joints/etc. (hence I believe that is why its called Ergo...) and you've never tempted to put your baby then in that position! I hope you do get it an enjoy it!!!

I did try it but the straps were to thick (on a guy I think it would be better).

I want one badly! It's just a bit pricey. I think I would get a bit of a deal on it at work. I love helping new moms try it out! It's simple to use and i've yet to see a baby who doesn't like it! They always look so cozy in it.

Do you guys get the infant insert as well?

I've been thinking about getting one. We have the Beco gemini and I love it and you can ergonomically front face on that one, if that is a feature you are looking for. We do it with Harper for very short periods of time, just because we don't want her getting over stimulated.

I have a brand new Ergo Organic. Never used it... just sitting in the closet. My back really sucks and I couldn't do any baby wearing past a couple months old.

I may consider selling mine if anyone is interested.

See Ive been debating on getting the beco or Ergo but know more people with the Ergo. We used an Ergo with Cambria when we went to Oregon. However she wasn't to much of a fan. I think cause she was used to the Bjorn. I use the sleepy wrap with Bay and he likes it but I think he's starting to not like it as much anymore. I think were gonna get the Organic Ergo. How much do you guys want to sell yours for? Ill ask DH and see If he was gonna use his credit card to buy it or debit and maybe he'll just give me the cash! heehee..
