Henry has seen Santa each year so far. He doesn't mind him at all. He'll sit in his lap and just stare up at him like "who the heck are you?"

We only take them to look at him. Taylor thinks I can call him and tell him what she wants and that's how she likes it I'm not worried about them sitting on his lap but if they really want to do it then I would. Otherwise, I'm not paying the huge amount our mall charges per child.

Last year we took him to a free neighborhood thing and he was just a baby and we got a good one of him smiling in Santa's lap.
This year we found a place that was only charging $5 (and proceeds went to a thing for seniors) so we went there. Matthew did NOT want to sit in Santa's lap but he was okay sitting in my lap next to Santa. He would look at him and smile when Santa talking to him. Before we left, we had showed him pictures of Santa on the internet and talked about how we were going to see him, so I think that did help him know what to expect.
Here is this year's pic.
And of him eating a candy cane after his visit with Santa.

I took Ian his first christmas - but its not something we've made a tradition out of. I like the fact that Ian knows he only comes on christmas eve...
honestly to me, the whole santa thing is just a huge ol mess for me...

Oh I love the pictures, Shannon!
We visit Santa when we take our annual trip to Williamsburg. At the Yankee Candle store they don't charge to see Santa.

Beautiful pics, Shannon.
I took Amara twice and she really wanted nothing to do with Santa. The second time I took her, I sat with her and she was still trying to get away. They took the pics and gave prints so I had to scan the pic and the quality is pretty poor.

Aw Mari, that is still a very cute Santa pic. She does look a little unsure of Santa, but really, who can blame her! If you notice on Matthew's pic, he has one leg off my lap, just in case he needs to get away from Santa!

My boys did SO well!
Dustin wouldn't sit on his lap and we didn't press the issue. Curtis was sitting on a stool in front (since Santa only has two knees haha) so he kinda stood and was very close to Curtis for comfort. AJ just sat there haha. It's cute, but AJ looks SOOO fat hahaha. I need to take a picture of the picture. I wasn't sure it was going to go well so I didn't want to pay the outrages amounts for digital copies of the picture... however I should have It turned out SO much better then I thought.

Oh what cute pics! I don't have any of his from earlier years on here anymore, but he used to SCREAM! He hated Santa! Last year I expected the same thing but nope he ran right over and jumped up on his lap and started smiling LOL!

Oliver didn't want to sit on his lap this year or last. He was scared of him so I sat next to Santa both years with Oliver on my lap. I never expected Oliver to sit with him. Oliver would never let anyone besides me, DH, or Grammy hold him. He is way to shy.
Picture of a picture from this year.
