I had my first ultrasound today.

It was different than any others I've had, since a tech did it and not the Dr, so I only got to see the baby for a few seconds when she finally turned the screen.

Baby is measuring 6w3d (I'm 6w5d) and heart rate was 127 bpm.

My RE was joking that all I needed was a little dust or something, since I got pregnant before I did fertility treatments. (Side note: My RE knows about baby dust?!) He said normally he'd see me in 2 weeks, but that he'll be in the Caribbean then so it will be 3 weeks and I'll get another ultrasound, then be released to an OB.

Here's baby...he/she needs a nickname since we still call Matthew "baby":

So far baby looks like a blur!

Twins, I would die!

They had a sign next to the u/s machine saying the tech couldn't give you the results of your scan. It was driving me nuts cause she was printing off all these pics and I didn't even know if baby was in there/had a heartbeat! Finally I asked and she said she'd let me hear the heartbeat, which she did just a couple seconds, then I saw the baby a couple seconds. Not at all like with Matthew where I got to see everything b/c the doctor turned the screen so I could see it as well. I am going to ask to see next time, I will be around 10 weeks. We have video of Matthew dancing at 9.5 weeks in utero and I'd love to get some of this baby too, but I'm afraid they won't let us...

When we did our 20 week scan where we found out it was a she, I barely saw any of it. just like 2 minutes at the end. Guy got to see the whole thing though.

I'm so excited for you! Are you hoping for a certain gender?
