... is going to be Julien Théo
Ok, there is still a *little* chance that we may change our minds, but we've been calling him Julien for a few months now and I really feel that it's his name.
Julien is obviously French for Julian. If you know a little bit of French, it rhymes with the word "bien".
Théo (pronounced "Tay-O") was my grandfather's nickname (his full name was Théobald).
In other news, I had my second GD-related appointment today and my doctor was happy with my numbers. I was a bit worried because I had a few highish numbers, but they were only a little bit over normal so she wasn't worried. My morning numbers are always the most problematic, but I found that as long as I avoid carbs, I'm all right (and I can eat carbs the rest of the day). So I'm eating eggs and bacon or sausage every morning and my numbers are fine.
I'm so happy to avoid insulin! She told me to be careful because I did lose a bit of weight in the past two weeks though. I'm seeing her again in two weeks, we'll see how it goes.

I LOVE that name. Very cute! Kinda jealous you thought of it lol. I have a good friend named Theo, pronounced the way you do. Exciting! Glad you don't have to take insulin as well.

I love the name! I wanted Julian as a boy name but DH vetoed it. Is bien pronounced the same way in French as it is in Spanish?
I'm glad your numbers are looking good, that's great news!

It's different from Spanish. I don't know how to write it phonetically. I found a French song called Julien on YouTube where the name is pronounced but I'm too tired to look for it right now. Maybe tomorrow.
